Alumni Connections & Networking Opportunities

The Eagle alumni network is a powerful resource for career development. The below are opportunities to offer and leverage the knowledge, connections, and skills in our community. Connect at events, panels, and online!

Alumni-in-Residence (AiR) provides opportunities for students and alumni to connect with alumni professionals for one-on-one virtual conversations to learn about their fields, seek advice, and more.

For alumni: This is your opportunity to give back and help your fellow Eagles learn from your experiences and perspectives. Offer to connect about your industry, employer, region, identity/affinity, and more! Interested in hosting one or more sessions? Register here.

For those interested in learning from alumni: This is a chance to ask questions, gain insights and make valuable connections to alumni in your field, region, or with similar life experiences.

All events are listed on Handshake. Be sure to check back regularly for new schedules. Keep in mind that interview slots open two weeks prior to the scheduled interview date and close the day before at 9 a.m. Eastern.

Want to prepare for the events? Before you go into any of these events, you’ll want to have a clear idea of what you want to get out of it and prepare questions. Check out AU's Informational Interviewing Page for tips and guidelines.

Alumni panels

The Career Center often hosts alumni panels to provide the opportunity for alumni to discuss specific topics with each other and with fellow Eagles. Often co-sponsored with the Office of Alumni Relations, the panels may cover topics such as industries, majors, employers, identities/affinities, regions, etc.

Check the Career Center's upcoming events for new alumni panels, or watch past alumni panel recordings.

Interested in being a panelist? Complete the volunteer interest form and be sure to select "Career & Professional Development."
