Lauren Duval is a historian of early North American women and gender. Her research examines British-occupied cities during the American Revolution through the lens of the household. Lauren's work has been published in the William and Mary Quarterly and she has held fellowships at the McNeil Center for Early American Studies, the David Library of the American Revolution, and the New York Public Library. She is currently working on her first book project, tentatively titled, The Home/Front: Gender, Domestic Space, and Military Occupation in the American Revolution.
