On-Campus Flu Shot Clinics Select Dates, September 14 - November 1

Between September 14 - November 1, campus flu shots will be provided to faculty and staff courtesy of AhealthyU,® The Office of Human Resources, the Student Health Center, Kaiser Permanente®, and Safeway. Flu shot sites will be held on Main Campus, Spring Valley Building (SVB), Connecticut Avenue, and Washington College of Law (WCL) Campus.

Open to all AU faculty and staff, regardless of your health insurance provider*.

Advance registration is highly encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability. Remember to bring your insurance card, if available.

CareFirst, non-AU insured and non-insured members are encouraged to register for a date sponsored by Safeway (reference schedule). This will help keep all of your medical records in one place.
Kaiser Permanente faculty and staff members are encouraged to register for a date sponsored by Kaiser. Please bring your insurance card.

*Flu shots and appointments are contracted through Safeway and Kaiser Permanente.

To schedule an appointment:

Review the flu shot clinics available and select the link for the date and location that works with your schedule.
Then, choose the desired time slot for your appointment.
If available, we recommend attending the clinic of your health care provider to allow your flu shot to be added to your medical records automatically. Please bring your insurance card if available.

Note: Having health insurance through AU is not required to attend any of the clinics.

The new COVID-19 vaccine is now available at all Safeway clinics! Any Safeway clinic after October 4, will also have the COVID-19 vaccination available.

Can't make it to an on-campus clinic?

You can schedule a low or no-cost flu shot with your healthcare provider at a participating location.

If you have health insurance, contact your provider directly or visit their website for guidance on choosing an in-network provider, a participating retail pharmacy, or clinic in your plan to receive a no or low-cost flu shot.
