Regardless of your age or your income, reaching retirement goals requires the same things: spend less, save more. It's really that simple. Learn the definitions and the differences in investment vehicles, and how to help choose the right ones for your financial goals and risk tolerance.
Get answers to the most frequently asked financial questions. A PwC financial counselor will address the most common questions they receive about savings and debt, renting or buying a house, investment goals, and credit scores. Be sure to come with your questions, too!

In this one-hour session you’ll learn how to make smart financial decisions related to some of your most pressing financial priorities -- building an emergency fund, saving for retirement, managing your investments, paying for college, and protecting your family from the financial consequences of unexpected life events.

Add some excitement to your day and put your skills to the test as University Police administers the LawFit obstacle course. Run the police obstacle course, which includes a wall climb, low crawl, window breach, and dummy drag. Individual and team participation. Prizes awarded to top individuals and teams and for most spirited outfits. Comfortable athletic attire is recommended.

Put your AU knowledge to the test! Questions range from AU’s history to pop culture and beyond. Teams will be capped at five full-time staff members. Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring teams at the end of each round. No pre-registration required, just show up to play! Each year the university honors staff and retirees with twenty or more years of service at a special dinner and presentation ceremony held at the Katzen Arts Center. In appreciation of their longstanding commitment to AU, this year we will honor staff who have reached 20-, 25-, 30-, 35-, 40-, and 45-year milestones between June 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019.
