"Be a Part of DC, Not Apart from DC" May Faculty Institute

Wednesday, May 11th from 10AM to 4PM. Hybrid (online and in-person at MGC 324). Food will be provided. Register here on the CTRL Portal.

This session focuses on designing a course syllabus to incorporate Community-Based Learning & Research (CBLR), a high-impact pedagogy that deepens student learning through collaboration with a nonprofit or school in the DC area and beyond. Participants will discuss best practices and challenges in community partnerships, learn about different types of service formats, and explore strategies to incorporate critical thinking and reflection.

First-time CB faculty attendees receive a $200 development grant.
