First Year Advising

Teaching, advising, and supporting students in their first year of college

Welcome to First Year Advising

First Year Advising assigns students to one advisor throughout their first year regardless of intended major. Advisors also teach their advisees in a weekly AUx1 course in the fall. This relationship allows students to have consistency through their first semester by providing weekly opportunities to connect with their advisor in class.
