AU’s office of Undergraduate Admissions coordinates campus info sessions and tours in addition to a wide range of other opportunities, virtual and in person.

The School of Public Affairs (SPA) offers virtual info sessions and one on one meetings through out the year.

Campus Tours & Information Sessions

You can schedule a campus tour and sign up for an information session through the AU Welcome Center. Tours and information sessions are arranged by the Office of Admissions at AU, admissions@american.edu or 202-882-6000.

Day Visits

Day Visits give you a glimpse of the true college experience. A Day Visit is individually set up for you based on your interests and needs. You will have the opportunity to sit in on a class with a current AU student and have lunch in our dining hall. You may also choose to pair your visit with a campus tour and information session.

Preview Days

AU's premier open house events for prospective undergraduate students and their families. Schools and colleges host academic overviews and showcases, student groups will be present at the Student Life Fair, and you'll also meet the Admissions team, faculty, and staff who can't wait to show you the best of AU.
