Intro. To CommonSpot Interactive Modules
Dynamically learn to update and edit an existing webpage using AU's content management system, CommonSpot. To attend, register for this course in the AsuccessfulU portal. Student workers of the university may request access from a technical trainer.

In this course, you will navigate through a series of introductory learning modules to understand and hone the fundamentals of CommonSpot. After completing all learning modules, you will learn how to request access to CommonSpot. This course is required for new users of CommonSpot before receiving account access. Afterwards, please join us at any of our bi-weekly CommonSpot Technical Training Hour to clarify any tools and find additional resources.

CommonSpot Virtual Technical Training Hour
These bi-weekly technical training hours reinforce the information presented in the online Introduction to CommonSpot self-paced course. Topics covered during these technical training hours include (but are not limited to): requesting access, tools, tips, finding additional learning resources, and best practices. Registration for these training hours is required, but participants may “pop” online anytime during the one-hour session to receive support and guidance with a technical trainer in a group setting. 

CommonSpot - Intermediate
Learn to create a new webpage using AU's content management system, CommonSpot. Using a blank template, participants will create new page layouts, add elements to containers, learn about the additional options of those elements, and use flex containers for feature content. Please take CommonSpot - Introduction before attending this class.

Learn to use the core Teams features to collaborate more effectively and create conversations and content

Excel Essential Training
Learn how to enter and organize data, perform calculations with simple functions, and format the appearance of data.

Excel Essential Training, Tables and Formatting
Learn specifically how to customize and format tables.

Excel: PivotTables for Beginners
Learn how to build and adjust PivotTables by adding fields, filters, and formatting.

ServiceNow - Customer Service Training for Agents
ServiceNow is American University's Cloud-based Customer Relationship Management System. The training will introduce you to ServiceNow’s Customer Service Management Module. You will learn how to create, assign, and track customer service requests. You will also learn how to create articles for the ServiceNow Knowledgebase.

ServiceNow - Customer Service Training for Managers
This training will be useful to ServiceNow managers who use either the IT Service Management or Customer Service Modules. In this training you will learn how to work with performance analytics, create templates, dashboards, and several types of reports.
