Before completing a Request for Certification and/or a Yellow Ribbon application, students MUST submit a copy of their Certificate of Eligibility to veterans@american.edu. If you are using Chapter 31 VR&E Benefits, please reach out to veterans@american.edu to confirm a Purchase Order is on file in lieu of a Certificate of Eligibility

2021-2022 Yellow Ribbon Application

Please complete the 2021-2022 Yellow Ribbon application if using Yellow Ribbon funding BEFORE August 1, 2022
The Yellow Ribbon application must be completed once unless you change programs, i.e. bachelors to masters. 
This form must be completed within the GI Bill year (August 1-July 31) you are applying for benefits.
